E. Scot Davis

Chief Executive Officer

E. Scot Davis, M.P.A., M.B.A., C.M.P.E. is a seasoned healthcare executive with more than 30 years of experience leading physician groups, surgical centers, and specialty practices through growth, modernization, and operational stabilization. He has served in key leadership roles across urology, pain management, and large multispecialty organizations, including Arkansas Spine and Pain, Arkansas Urology, and NEA Clinic/Baptist Medical Group. Scot holds a Master of Business Administration from Christian Brothers University, a Master of Public Administration from Memphis State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Memphis State. He is a Certified Medical Practice Executive under the Medical Group Management Association.

Outside the office, Scot is active in the Little Rock community through the Rotary Club of Little Rock and the sits on the Board of Directors of the Central Arkansas Heart Association. He and his wife, Amy, have three children. His hobbies include golf, reading, cooking, making limoncello, and traveling — always gathering stories along the way.

Ali Jarallah

Chief Operating Officer

Ali Jarallah serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Arkansas Spine & Pain, providing executive oversight across clinical operations, laboratory services, and information technology infrastructure. In this role, he is responsible for organizational strategy, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and enterprise-wide systems integration supporting multi-site pain management and diagnostic services.

In addition to his COO responsibilities, Ali serves as the Laboratory Manager and IT Manager, overseeing toxicology laboratory operations, CLIA compliance, quality systems, and laboratory information systems (LIS). He leads the design, implementation, and optimization of clinical and laboratory workflows, data security, reporting automation, and technology platforms to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant diagnostic services.

Ali works closely with physicians, clinical leadership, and external partners to manage vendor relationships, capital planning, budgeting, and operational performance. His leadership is focused on scalability, process improvement, and the strategic use of technology to support high-quality patient care, regulatory integrity, and sustainable growth.

 

Julie Gates

Chief Nursing Officer

Julie M. Gates, MSN, RN, is an accomplished nursing and healthcare operations leader with over 20 years of experience spanning acute care, women’s services, long-term care, and addiction recovery. She brings a strong background in clinical operations, workflow optimization, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement, with a consistent focus on delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.

Julie is known for building strong clinical teams, improving processes across multidisciplinary environments, and aligning day-to-day operations with organizational goals. Her leadership style emphasizes accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement while supporting both patient outcomes and staff success.

She holds two Master’s degrees in Nursing with an emphasis in Nursing Administration and Leadership. Originally from Erie, Pennsylvania, Julie has made Arkansas home, where she lives with her significant other, two children, and two Goldendoodles.

Jenn Robinson

Business Office Manager 

Jenn Robinson is a seasoned Revenue Cycle Manager with more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry. She began her career as the Assistant Director of Patient Financial Services at a rural hospital in southeast Oklahoma, where she developed a strong foundation in patient access, billing, and reimbursement. She later advanced into the role of Charge Master Coordinator, gaining expertise in coding accuracy, compliance, and pricing strategy.

Throughout her career, Jenn has been recognized for her leadership, operational insight, and commitment to improving financial performance. She is dedicated to streamlining processes, enhancing revenue integrity, and supporting teams in delivering efficient, patient-focused financial services.

Outside of work, Jenn enjoys traveling, exploring thrift shops, and spending quality time with her grandchildren. She loves attending concerts, watching movies, reading, and writing. Jenn is also an avid collector of Harley Quinn, Star Wars, and Deadpool memorabilia.

 

Brad Barber

Director Business Development/Marketing

Bradley Barber brings more than 30 years of dedication and leadership to the healthcare industry, having served across a wide spectrum of care settings. His career includes impactful roles in organ donation, acute care, hospice, home health, and now pain management, where he continues to advocate for compassionate, patient-centered treatment.

Known for his steady commitment to improving lives, Bradley has earned a reputation for integrity, empathy, and a deep understanding of the patient journey from every angle of care.

Outside of work, Bradley is an avid camper, fisherman, and cook, always happiest with a cast iron skillet by a campfire or a fishing pole in hand. He is also a proud collector of Abraham Lincoln memorabilia, drawn to Lincoln’s legacy of resilience, leadership, and humility.

Grounded, experienced, and guided by a genuine love for helping others, Bradley Barber continues to make a meaningful impact on the communities he serves.

Jennifer Thompson

Director of Human Resources

Jennifer Thompson is a versatile professional with over two decades of experience, combining technical expertise, analytical skill, and HR leadership. She spent 18 years in Transport Engineering and Telecommunications, supporting large-scale network operations for industry leaders, developing a detail-oriented, compliance-focused approach.

For the past seven years, Jennifer has excelled in Payroll and Benefits within healthcare and nonprofit sectors, managing health insurance, retirement plans, and payroll integration.

Known for her professionalism, integrity, and technical acumen, Jennifer leverages her diverse background to deliver accurate, compliant, and employee-focused HR solutions. Outside of the office, she is a devoted mother (and dog mom) to her 15-year-old son Garrett and two goldendoodles, Leo and Lola

 

Carrie Farnam

Surgery Center - Nurse Manager

Carrie Farnam, RN, serves as the Manager of our Ambulatory Surgery Center. Before entering the nursing profession, Carrie spent two decades as a Cosmetologist and successful salon owner. Seeking a meaningful life change, she entered the field of nursing in 2014 and has since dedicated herself to building a diverse and well-rounded clinical background. Her experience has allowed her to develop broad expertise and a strong commitment to patient care.

Carrie is passionate about improving the quality of life for those around her and is focused on building a team of professionals who share that passion. She works tirelessly each day to maintain a safe, compliant, and patient-centered environment while striving to elevate our surgery center to the highest standards.

Outside the office, Carrie is a devoted wife and proud bonus mom to Sydney. She and her husband, Brooks, enjoy traveling, playing pickleball, and spending time with their three fabulous fur babies. Carrie dreams of one day becoming a stay at home dog mom and grandmother, but until then, she remains committed to striving for excellence in growing and leading the best surgery center in Central Arkansas.

 

Amie Smith, RN

Nurse Case Manager, CASC

Ms. Amie Smith, RN, is a dedicated and highly skilled registered nurse with more than 12 years of experience across a wide range of healthcare settings. She brings a strong clinical foundation shaped by her military training as a paramedic, which instilled in her a calm, decisive approach to patient care. Throughout her career, Ms. Smith has served patients at respected institutions including Baptist Medical Center and Arkansas Heart Hospital, where she gained extensive experience in acute and specialized care environments.

Known for her compassion, professionalism, and commitment to excellence, Ms. Smith continues to exemplify the highest standards of nursing practice. In addition to her professional accomplishments, she is also preparing for an exciting new chapter in her personal life, as she and her family eagerly await the arrival of her first child, a son named Killian, expected in February 2026.
